About

I create work inspired by our native flora fauna, lore and rituals.

This ranges from the more domestic porcelain slip cast baubles and decorative seasonal wares to one of sculptural pieces.  I handmake each piece with a focus on tactility, subtle surface detail, and forms that are designed to be lifted and explored.

My speciality is sculptural pieces, finished with glazes I have carefully developed to celebrate variation and individuality. I embrace the small differences that naturally occur through the making process, as I believe these details give each piece its own character and sense of authenticity.

What sets my work apart is the balance I aim to achieve between refined design and an honest, handmade aesthetic. I work on a small scale, which allows me to give close attention to detail and quality, and to maintain a strong connection between myself, the process, and the people who use my work.

All of my packaging is either natural, recyclable or recycled.
