I studied 3D Contemporary Applied Art at the University of Wolverhampton, where I developed a love for exploration and experimentation through ceramics, glass and textiles. With the wealth of knowledge and practical skills I gained in creating 3D forms, ceramics took centre stage for me by my second year of my degree and I haven’t looked back since. I split my making time between my garage studio at my home in County Down and The Studio at Castle Ward — National Trust, Strangford. My work has become a celebration of the familiar flora and fauna of our beautiful island, and a way for me to reconnect with nature on both a spiritual and physical level. I express this through decorative and sculptural pieces.
